Tucked inside a lush garden of ancient trees and bougainvillea, Kostas Brother has been welcoming families and friends to the table since 1978. Real Zakynthian cooking, live local music, and a wine list that travels the whole of Greece.
The Amanatidis family opened Kostas Brother in 1978 with a simple belief: that good food, grown and cooked with care, brings people together. Four decades later, nothing has changed — except the trees have grown taller, and the garden has grown more beautiful.
Every dish on our table comes from local Zakynthian farmers and fishermen. We press our own olive oil, and keep recipes that have been in the family for generations.

Dine under a canopy of pine trees and jasmine, surrounded by bougainvillea and stone paths that glow golden after dark. Our courtyard is the heart of the taverna — and the reason most guests stay far longer than they planned.
Zakynthos has a singing tradition that goes back centuries. On live music nights, local musicians play kantades — the island’s beloved serenade style — and our own unique musical experience turns a simple dinner into something you won’t forget.

We are open through the season in Vassilikos, Zakynthos. Reservations are recommended — the garden fills up quickly.
